I’m most concerned as both a human being and an artist by the abuse of power and the injustice in this world.
I studied and grew up in Germany, so my work is very European in style. I have a a serious art eduction, an MFA in fine arts and film from the Academy of the Fine Arts in Cologne. My main artistic influences include Beckmann, Kandinsky, Gorky, Ernst, Paladino, Polke, Dubuffet, Gabrielle Munster, Eva Hesse, Helen Frankenthaler and Ai WeIWei.
Writers of great influences on me are Theodor Adorno, Hannah Arendt and Bertram Russel because they write about the development of fascism and the abuse of power. Also Jean Paul Sartre, Simone de Beauvoir, Albert Camus, Thomas Mann as well as Kafka and Rilke.
There is a cinematic quality to my work which comes from my film background in my paintings. I create characters, stories and images. I’m most influenced by the directors Fellini, Ingmar Bergman, Akira Kurosawa, Bunuel,Osu, Monte Hellmann, and Antonioni.
For me a powerful piece of art should reflect its times. I think a strong piece of art is timeless and universal, because emotions are universal and all humanity can relate to this.

Received a Master’s Degree in the fine arts and film with honors from the Academy of the fine Arts in Cologne.
Scholarship from the Berlin Film Festival to study Film in Los Angeles.

2021 Featured Artist in the special art edition Nue magazine New York and LA.
2021 Artwork Won first prize and honorable mention for the exhibition “Hindsight Is 2020.” curated by Terry Hastings, USC, Jurors are from the Art Institute Chicago, New York and Cal Arts Los Angeles.
2020 Artwork has been awarded by the Jewish Journal LA in collaboration with the LA Mayor Eric Garcetti for the Holocaust Memorial Day.

2019/2018 The art of art filmed a documentary about my work in LA. Producer and Host Shane Guffogg.
2019/2018 Art publication for “ Eat Me” the movie filmed and screened in LA. The LA Times reviewed the film.
2019 Juried exhibition University of Riverside.
2018 Special invite and exhibition from the Academy of fine arts in Luxor. I was the guest of honor.

2016/17 I was invited to display work@Arte internationale in Italy Matera, curated by Pino Nicoletti
2016 featured art at “ Oculus Clamantis in Deserto; Palm Springs Fine Art Fair, curated by Peter Frank.
2016 featured art the Open Desert, The Annenberg Theatre Palm Springs Art Museum, curated by Christopher Chinocki.
