Stjepan Mimica

Studied at Belgrade Academy of Fine Arts.
Early throughout his career he gave up painting and turned all of his attention to other areas of the culture and business, including graphic design, audio production, publishing, interior design, real estate and writing.
Although Belgrade is his home base, Mimica has travelled extensively and has lived and worked in cities all over the world including London, Paris and Prague.
Lately Mimica has been involved in photography and digital art.

Mimica uses photographs taken from the Belgradian flea markets to create his detailed, jumbled digital artworks, which capture the beautiful chaotic atmosphere of the Serbian market places.
