Lane Barden is an artist, educator and architectural photographer in Los Angeles, CA with an M.F.A. in Photography from the University of New Mexico. He learned photography by watching his father develop prints in the kitchen of his small home in Charlotte and by taking pictures for the high school yearbook
He has work in the collections of the Getty Center, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, and the Houston Museum of Fine Arts. He is a professional architecture photographer and teaches photography and post-production at the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles.
His current work consists of digitally altered urban landscape photographs of the Los Angeles River and channel.
