Terry Dee

Born in Poole, Dorset, UK. An independent artist, early work,hard-edged geometric abstraction, medium,acrylic on canvas, my inspiration came from Frank Stella and my art exemplifies his motto 'What you see is what you get'. My latest work,Indian ink, graphite,permanent colored markers, digital photo imaging,collage on paper. Subject matter, large and varied, both abstraction and realism, some with African Caribbean voodoo influences.

Self taught and have exhibited work in South Africa (Gallerie Tendenz, Cape Town), USA (Belenki Gallery, SoHo NYC). I have sold to private collectors and corporations in the US, Europe and Africa.
