Leonidas Beratis

I was Born in the beautiful city of Kastoria, Northwest Greece.
I am a self taught artist-painter.
Through my constant practice with paintings, oil colors, canvases and other mediums of fine arts, i have achieved a high level as an artist, regarding the hyper-realistic depictions of my artworks.
The medium's I use are mostly oil on canvas but i am very skillful at acrylics on canvas, dry pastels, markers on paper, etc.
I love hyper-realism effects and depictions of my subjects.
My favorite subject is the Sea and the reflections of blue on the water.
I am very good in portraits and i have done plenty of them for commissions.

I have a Masters at Geopolitical Analysis and Geostratigic Synthesis, Defence studies and i am a Greek Navy Officer.
Even though i haven't attended any art schools or academy's, i have evolved my skills in painting at a very high level through the years.

I have numerous of participation's in group exhibitions and three solo ones in Athens Greece and Chania city in Creta.
