Iwona Golor

A young museum artist which was born on 29.11.1991 in Tarnowskie Góry. A painter and a landscape artist specialising in portraits.
She is an author of the series of paintings „Saving Face” organized together with Ela Kraszewska from the Gallery „Wiele Sztuki”. In 2018 her first painting "Prof. Marian Zembala" was purchased by the Museum of Art in Tarnowskie Góry in Poland.
A laureate of a Golden Index award that allowed her to join any Polish Academy of Fine Arts without the necessity of passing any entry exams. In the years 2011-2016 she studied at Warsaw’s Academy of Fine Arts under professors Krzysztof Wachowiak and Edward Tarkowski. She graduated from the Department of Painting with distinction for which she won a Ewa Tomaszewska MEP Award.
Among her achievements are both individual and group exhibitions. Her paintings can be found in private collections in Poland (f.ex. Jurek Owsiak), Germany, Canada and Norway.
