While visiting Native American Villages in British Columbian waters I purchased a number of pieces from various carvers. Many were receptive to my questions but on occasion "White Eyes" was not welcome. While watching the Hope Island Chief he handed me a knife and encouraged my efforts and for 12 years have been consumed by this artistic en-devour. Carving Native American images when it came time to sell, collector's informed me "Nice Work" but no Provenance" and had to sell the work at half the competition price. Now working in Abstract, I'll share my book mark with you!
"Don't only practice your art, but force your way into it's secrets: art deserves that, for it and knowledge can raise man to the Divine"
