Rob Sutherland

I discovered photography whilst at school in a remote corner of Cumbria after being inspired by my geography teacher, Jim Fisher, whose images recorded adventures that fed the imagination. Shortly after becoming interested in the medium I obtained an old Fuji SLR which barely worked, but the seed was sown. Since this time technology has not ceased it's onward march and the switch to digital was made in early 2006.

My work tends to reflect my environment. I love the outdoors, the dramatic and a good adventure.
