I am constantly trying new technologies and techniques to make images which explore the uncanny and absurd. 'Alarm Call - number one' - for example - is a hyper-real image of something which is not real but is nonetheless engineered to draw upon a populist nostalgia for past - and 'anacomically correct' - imagery.

Created using cutting edge Wacom stylus pen technology, I draw directly on the monitor screen onto - and into - a virtual 3-d space. These images are then painstakingly recreated using traditional oil painting methods.

My work is represented in important collections including the Hunterian Museum and the David Roberts Collection.
