The cat in the photo is a male Main Coon cat his name is Chester. He loves to be a little explorer, gets into everything. He is my good friend. Likes to sit and watch me paint.
I now paint mostly with acrylics. I like to paint mostly on canvases that are medium size. I also have books of paintings on paper that I have done just for fun. Most of my paintings can fit nicely in a hallway or living room to add some color and interest to a dull area.
Color, as you can see by my paintings is a very important element to me. I like to expand ideas by playing with the colors in the painting. I will paint over a colors and Gesso over a design if I don't think it works the way I want it too.
I spend a great deal of time planning each painting.
I am painting or drawing most of the time, but many of my paintings are not finish works for several weeks.

July 1-29 2014, "The Summer Show" , Artist of Northern Colorado had three paintings in the show, won a red first place ribbon.
Oct.20,2021 Recently sold a painting to a collector in Madrid, Spain.
