born in nairobi kenya in 1969as the 4th child out of 7 children. attended graphic design but returned to my first love the fine artsI am basically a painter working mostly with acrylic on canvas mostly.My main interest is mostly the human figure both in painting or drawing.My entire working process i.e. layers, is usually visible to the keen eye.My subject is based on everyday activities especially of women. These are people I meet and see on daily bases either in the home setting or in activities they undertake i.e. in small business or by the road side.I try to capture the positive aspects in life, as I feel that even though every one has problems but we dont walk around with it showing on our facesSome time the works are done in series i.e. same subject and but different angles. I believe that every one has problems but they do not walk around showing it on there face.In the last two years I have introduced another aspect where I paint form life models in a series I call cover girls. The women I am working with are those on the heavier side.These are ordinary women (not professional models) but they should be happy with the way she looks and thus not likely to appear on the covers of magazines.I have also produced and exhibited ...
