Jan Widstromer

Painter born in 1944 in the county of Smland, Sweden. Now living in the town of Falkenberg on the westcoast of Sweden. My art is a voyage always finding new shores.By the millennium, my art turned more musical as I found a more elaborate style for subtle expressions of music and spirituality. One might say that my art turned more spiritual. Instead of depicting my surroundings and me living in it, i attempted to show its inner equivalent, its impact on me in an inner sense; and its spiritual aspect. The seasons of the year, changes in the weather, poetic experiences, and important thoughts in connection et.al. were transformed into painted music without words. My art is spiritual. My art is hymns or music in color. My art is poetry without words.
