Leslie Ayres paintings contain elements that deserve our attention; his work doesnt contain the monotonous romantic landscape that appeals to our sentimental side.
He gives us the mountains as they are, in many ways contrasting like an invitation and at the same time a threat. His work is beautiful and at the same time a little brutal, lively but monotonous, with a tint of excitement. His paintings cry out such a basic tone that we can hear it from the other side of the canvas!
I know that paintings that are created under the influence of things that are, always will speak to anybody who wonders about and wants to master their own existence.
Leslie Ayres paintings are worth listening to.
