Gavin Campbell

I completed my PhD in fine art in 2011. I am interested in the way images can convey a psychological energy. Painting and photography for me are visual capsules reflecting states of being. I feel art is a way to explore what is really going on in the universe, stripped of pretentiousness and distraction. I work in a retail space. I get alot of my subject matter from my place of work as I focus on artistic/psychological dimensions within post industrial consumerism.
