Matej Anzin

Matej is a versatile painter not afraid to use any technique, genre and style at his disposal, in order to express himself. In his beginnings as a teenager he was influenced the most by the late Slovenian Impressionist Masters and then he slowly developed his own ways and styles. He even ventured out of the genre, but carrying over certain elements of it, however there is still a burning desire in him to one day return to it and give it his all.

Matej graduated from Industrial Design. He is a self-thought fine art painter and a hobby carpenter who was born in Slovenia (a republic of former Yugoslavia). He has been creating art since early age.

"Without artistic expression we cease to exist as intelligent species." is how Matej defines his artistic path.
