After finishing a degree in fashion and textiles at Chelsea School of Art my working life has taken many different turns.... knitwear designer, glass collage artist, embroidery designer, art teacher and painter.


THE PAINTINGS ‘Hello Girls’ are an extension of my creative life.

Decorative and bold, derive from a natural desire to readdress my work balance. 
They are the result of a personal journey, a celebration of all that is female poise and owning the balls we juggle. A modern day interpretation of pinups, a homage to the days of the Vargas girls, cheeky postcards and 70’s record cover illustrations.The girls lend themselves to decoration, portraying another self beyond life’s day to day. Through mixed media, pencil, charcoal, acrylics, collage, emulsion, gold and silver leaf I explore images that tell a story and respond to a more emotional and discerning level of creativity. I continue to develop my own body of work and I work to commission.
