Sara Abbott

Dover 1967. I'm more or less a self taught painter. I compleated a foundation at Camberwell in the 80's but after time spent travelling and having children I anly started painting full time 5 years ago. I am well known in Brighton for my animal paintings but want my figurative work to be equally recognised. I have recently given up working in a gallery and am planning to open one of my own! Watch this space.

The only part of the world I am in total control of is the canvas in front of me, so I try and make it as perfect to my needs as I can. Biggest inspiration has to be Caravaggio.
