Nicol Vacaru is a contemporary artist working primarily in ink on paper, exploring figurative abstraction through minimal gesture and expressive line. Her practice investigates themes of emotional presence, silence, and inner transformation through restrained monochrome compositions shaped by balance and spatial awareness.
Through fluid yet deliberate mark-making, her works create quiet visual fields where fragility and strength coexist. Each drawing emerges from a meditative process, allowing form to unfold gradually and inviting viewers into moments of calm reflection and introspective stillness.
Trained in architecture at the Technical University of Moldova, Vacaru approaches composition with an architectural sensitivity to structure, rhythm, and space. Her ink works transform minimal means into poetic visual narratives, offering collectors an experience of serenity, emotional clarity, and quiet resilience.
