Claudia Arbizú

Claudia Arbizú is an artist from El Salvador who specializes in abstracts, nudes and still life.
"Since childhood, I have been inspired by the colors of my native country´s sunsets... every time I start to paint, I feel transported to a state where neither time or space can touch me".

My name is Claudia Arbizú and I decided to study journalism because I like to write about feelings and I became an artist because I really do love painting. I was born and raised during the civil war in my country El Salvador and it was a very difficult time for my family and for me. I have the feeling that through words you can express your deepest feelings and through art you can discover how this feeling can show your nude soul and heart. I am a self-taught artist and I hope you enjoy the movement of my paintings, like waves in seas that nobody has discovered yet.
Living in New York has showed me how easy is for my mind and my spirit express beauty and love at the same time in every sunrise, every sunset or every moment of our lives.
