Jadran Krnajski

I was born on 22.Oct.1961. Currently living and working in Belgrade, Serbia.
I graduated from the Department of Painting, Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in 1988, and got a MA in 1991 at the same faculty and department.
I paint and draw from the inner need for a good, positive and most beautiful that I find in myself in and transfer it on canvas and paper.
Throughout the game of lines, color, shape and imagination I find interesting solutions to express feelings and ideas.
The essence of my artistic language is balance of contraists between warm and cold colors, light and darknes, lines and surfaces, two-dimensional paintings and illusion of three-dimensional world.
Every detail in the image has its own specific meaning, symbolism, and makes the puzzle.
I find inspiration in nature, warm and gentle human relationships, the city where I live ...
