I was born in Warsaw.
I live and work in Otwock.
My paintings are a result of only seemingly a spontaneous action.
I concentrate long before I start to work.
The watercolor technique that I use is a technique that requires extensive knowledge and experience.
It's a technique that is unforgivable to mistakes.
As in real life - a decision, once taken, sets in motion the machinery of events and consequences.
A person overcomes the road and still needs to deal with what fate gives him.
Just as these paintings. A splash casted on paper entails another action so the composition can reach a satisfied ending.
The creative process is a quick operation. A thought,a brush,some paint combined in one to move emotions and colorful energies on to the paper.
I want to experience every temperature of emotion, from cool gray to hot red.
I ask myself why we're here, why the energy is first blazing and spilling, and then dying somewhere in grays, becoming a tiny point to once again be reborn through the blues, purples up to the hot big red and again shrink, fade to be reborn once again...

1986-1991 studed painting at the Akademy of Fine Arts in Warsaw in studio of Profs. Stefan Gierowski and additional course in wall painting in Prof. Edward Tarkowski's studio
