Volker Behrens

I am a landscape photographer living in Hamburg, Germany. I was born in 1970 in Düsseldorf, Germany. My passion for photography began already at the age of 12, influenced by my elder brother who actually is a very successful advertising photographer in New York.

My photographs are characterized by reduction and simplicity. In my works I follow a clear and precise language.

All photographs are made with analog medium format cameras. To achieve best quality and high resolution, scans are made with Hasselblad high end scanner.
