Artem Antanos

Painting is a very important means of expression for me. I express myself with colors, I dream in colors, I live discovering new colors in portraits,landscapes and still lifes. I try to find a reflection of the art of modern times in my paintings.
Mostly, my spirit is excited by the incredibly beautiful old streets of Tbilisi, its inhabitants and events.
I also draw genre stages and compositions on different plots.My art originates from expressionism and moves with the flow of the modern world. It is difficult to determine which cultural and creative strands are close to me. I do not want to limit myself to “isms” because it precludes me from creativity.

2004-2008 I studied at Jacob Nikoladze Technical School (Tbilisi), where I learned quite difficult painting techniques.
2008-2012 graduated from Yerevan State Academy of Art. During my studies I took part in exhibitions several times.

My first personal exhibition “Technique, color, determination” took place in 2018(Art Palace Tbilisi). There were presented 36 paintings.
