Liu Xianghua

Liu Xianghua received his doctoral degree in art and design from China Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2014，and served as a Visiting Scholar in The Centre for idea, Faculty of the VCA and Music, The University of Melbourne. Before he went to Melbourne, Liu Xianghua had served as Lecturer and associate professor in Minzu（Nationality）University of China in Beijing for ten years. In 2016, he won the National Arts Fund. In 2010, his installation Urban Forest, has featured in the exhibition “reshaping history- China art from 2000 to 2009”curated by Today Art Museum in Beijing. He has participated in dozens of group exhibitions and solo exhibitions worldwide.He held solo ink Art exhibition in Melbourne CBD, Box hill, Footscray, Wentworth Falls NSW, and Hobart Tasmania, Australia, Massachusetts and Georgia, USA. He has completed dozens of public art projects. His painting and installation works collected by domestic and foreign art institutions and private collectors.

2004: Graduated and received Master degree from Department of environmental art design Beijing Institute Of Fashion Technology.
1997: Graduated from Department of environmental art design Academy of Fine Arts Tsinghua University .
