I am a visual artist living and working in London, UK. My work is based, mainly around drawing and the concept of fragmentation. We are all fragmented in one way or another, we only show the world small aspects of ourselves, only the most beautiful or talented sides and hide the rest, so I try to just depict those aspects that the subjects likes which makes a very interesting portrait. Unlike many realist style artists I works predominately on canvas, which due to it’s course nature presents a greater challenge, but some very interesting results in both line and texture.

As a portrait artist I try to capture the feeling of the subject as well as their aesthetic appearance. I am not just tying to draw a picture of a man or woman but to capture how that persons personality makes me feel about them.

Art for me is the hardest, most complex form of communication; all other forms of communication have rules, dialects and or a language. Visual art is truly free as there are no rules and no boundaries to guide or suppress you in your never ending attempt to express your inner most feelings and desires.
