Ana VrtačNik

Ana Vrtačnik was born in 1991 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Since 1992, she has lived and studied in Novi Sad, Serbia. She completed her undergraduate and master studies of Painting under the mentorship of prof. Vlado Rančić at the Department of Fine Arts of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. In the same year, she received a scholarship for the prestigious summer Academy in Salzburg, where she completed the "Painting Laboratory" program with prof. Varda Caivano. She is currently a doctoral student, study program "Fine Arts" at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, where she is employed as a professional associate at the Department of Painting.

So far, she has exhibited at over 60 exhibitions in the country and abroad (China, Austria, Switzerland, Croatia, Belgium, Denmark, USA, Portugal, Brazil, Canada, Spain ...) and participated in two internationally recognized residencies - one within Academy in Naples, and others within the "Red Gate" organization in Beijing. She is a member of the Association of Fine Artists of Vojvodina.
