Changes and challenges make my life colourful and exciting.
I never painted before my mid 30s, but when I moved from Russia to Canada, I was inspired tremendously by the magnificence of the Pacific West coast . So I took a brush and changed my career from child psychology to art.
I love experimenting with different mediums, styles and subjects. Drawings, watercolours , oil and acrylic paintings - they reflect my belief that everything – be it a landscape, a figure or just a simple flower – has its own inner essence that evokes profound emotional impressions in people. I like capturing this sense of the inner ‘spirit’ and sharing my delight in experiencing it with you, my viewers !
