I am a filmmaker ,writer & painter. I like to work in every medium. Right from the start I have always drawn inspiration directly from the images I see or have seen and from dreams. I like to use oil,water colour,crayons,pencil,ink - oh everything. I like sculptures too but I have not had any opportunity to create any work. I like stone and wood too. I do not mind mixing media,anything that is handy and helps me to express.

Bachelor of Science - B.Sc in Physics & Maths.
Bachelor of Journalism - B.J.
Self-taught in art and it seemed art came naturally,so did the understanding about line,mass,form,colour,tone and texture. Like the famed musician & composer Ravel ,I can see the form with my special 'eye' on the canvass .It develops thereon. I always know what I am expressing and I have an excellent idea of its size,proportion & perspective.

Although I have been painting & making documentaries on Painters & sculptors,I have begun exhibiting my work now. My immediate family , and friends,among them some eminent senior art critics ,have always seen my work with some degree of appreciation,commenting on them in their own ways. I do not suppose art can be explained ,it has to be seen and stared at,felt and 'understood' in a personal way.
