I make hand-built and press-molded sculptural and mural ceramic work in France. These non-functional pieces can take the form of human figure but they also include animals or people and places that interest me. Decoration is influenced by my background in design, I use illustration software and projection to help create my work.

Firing can include reduction or oxidation with various home-made gas and electric kilns employed along with wax finishes. Multiple firing and fuming provide a further opportunity to affect results or uncover the hazards!

I’m constantly experimenting to discover what really is technically possible and visually appealing so this description is likely to change! I like to produce ceramic work that is challenging and interesting to make whilst being fun to own.
