Norma Greenwood

Norma Greenwood has a graduate degree in Fine Art from Hunter College, NY. Norma is a painter and works in other media including photography and collage. She explores relationships between people and objects and how that relationship can shape a visual narrative. Her work includes a permanent public art installation in the Jacksonville,FL. International Airport.

Greenwood is a grant recipient from the New York State Council on the Arts and the Abby Austin Mural Arts Fellowship from the National Academy Museum. She received a George Sugarman Award, a Ludwig Vogelstein grant and a NYFA Workshop Grant. Her work is represented in private and public collections including The Museum of American Folk Arts, AT&T, CUNY Art Gallery, Citicorp and Columbia Pictures Ltd. She exhibits her work in New York city and internationally.
