Kevin Harty

Kevin Harty is an artist whose work is very unconventional . Different not only in what he creates, but also in his choice of a prime medium, fabric. Something he pioneered is the technique of sculpting fabric.
He was raised in Farmington, CT. He moved to New Haven, CT to study graphic design & illustration at SCSU. Later went on to apprentice for a sculptor which gave him a profound interest in the fine arts.
He currently lives in East Haven, CT .

especially his kinetic sail sculptures , probably lead to my
current work in fabric.
