She likes very ordinary activities after. Hiking, biking and enjoying nature. But also appreciates the bustle of the city.
As a child being an artist was not a specific wish and she had no idea what she would like to be later. She wanted to do everything, but certainly not in education. She did everything to still end up in education. She is a lecturer, and loves it, just because it's a great job.
She was always creative. Drawing, painting, crafts, Lego blocks and refurbishing chores hours in the garden playing, the journey around the world.
Mostly self-taught and partly formed by the academies of Kontich, Koksijde and Hoboken

Inspiration comes from ordinary things. As worn bike tires. Which she washes and cuts them into hundreds of pieces neatly arranges them into a side drawing, a collage. A traditional and labor intensive process. Always with humor and with a wink. She invites us to see the work under natural light and artificial light. She leaves plenty of room for personal interpretation of the viewer.
