Chloe Henderson

Nature and its rhythms, patterns, cycles; be it in the sea and its waves, the mountains and their layers of time, the trees and their symmetry, all inspire my work. These have opened questions on time and its cycles, spaces and places, each unique, ever changing; and beauty- what is beautiful? why are we attracted to it? In my oil paintings I separate all colours into very distinct shapes, each working next to, and being complemented by the next, like sounds and rhythms in music… Why do we dance to a rhythm? Patterns, cycles...
