EDUCATION
Born in Cape Town South Africa now living in Plettenberg Bay in the Garden Route where I paint and draw. My art is unfettered by the norms and conventions of traditional art school. I work intuitively exaggerating form at times using surreal perspective. Abstract insights are brought to life in vivid pastel, oils, acrylic, charcoal, mixed media producing memorable images which will engage your mind and invite your interaction. My painting reflects my concern for the state of our planet and our environment altho at present I am still consumed by my passion for life drawing and figure studies.

Studied ceramics at Port Elizabeth Technikon and life drawing at Foundation school of Art Cape Town, and with Spies Venter and Myfanwy Bekker and painting with Dr Greg Kerr. Mixed Media Group Exhibition July/August 2009 at EPSAC gallery South Africa,joint exhibition with Ingrid Coerlin, April 2011
