Chira recognizes her interpretation of forms and pigments as a primitive process. In her pieces there is an evolution of elements, a buoyant of secrets and fire which is hold in the hi-temperature ceramic. The deeply experimental chemistry of glazes brings together the language of actual transitory époques and the prehistoric sign.

She uses azulejos, tiles, in order to bring on the surface the interior invisibilities. The combination of Chira’s Italian origin, the tradition of the great masters in the central Italy, the colours and openings of Portuguese-Mourish culture is in her ancestral language dialoguing with the contemporary shapes. The artist narrates the passage of time in large scale until arriving to count hours and minutes and seconds, she writes the path from memory to imagination.

After graduating in Painting from the Academy of Fine Art of Florence, Chira explored different media expressions, which contributed to the formation of her visual dictionary. Motion graphics and graphic novels in particular influenced her compositions. In 2014 Chira exhibited at the O. Licini Art Gallery in Ascoli, Italy. In 2015 at the Independent Art Biennial in Liverpool and at the Parallax Art Fair of London and at Folli 50.0 in Milan.
