Vladislav Vladislavov

I was born in 1963 in Sofia, Bulgaria.

My interest in making sculpture dates since 2004.

At that time, with a friend of mine I visited an exhibition, where the exposed sculptures seemed quite simple to me and I commented that I do not like them. Then, my friend ironically replied me to start making them better. And so I started.

Making sculptures is for my personal enjoyment only, not to show them in exhibitions.

I’m not educated sculptor. I found a way to create them and in the cases I couldn’t, my friends – sculptors advised me how to cope with that.

Till now I’m not aware of anyone who makes such massive silver objects in ancient style, as I do.
