Tamar Giorgadze is a visual artist and painter based in Tbilisi, Georgia. Her practice explores the interplay of light, space, and perception, blending abstraction and reality into contemplative, dream-like compositions. Working primarily in painting, video, and new media, she transforms rhythm, geometry, and illumination into immersive, meditative experiences.
Her series “Fields of Light” investigates subtle relationships between light and perception through layered colored pencil drawings. Each work balances precise geometry with ethereal softness, creating luminous surfaces that seem to breathe. These compositions evoke landscapes without location and moments without narrative, offering visual meditations on perception, stillness, and impermanence.
MFA in Painting from Tbilisi State Academy of Arts (2007)
Art, Media, and Design at LUCA School of Arts, Brussels (2010–2011)
