My artistic way

My painting’s purpose is not to reproduce the outer appearance of things, it tries to get their internal tension fields and reveal the hidden links between them. It does not aim at being an aesthetic object, it’s purpose is to reveal my way of perceiving and feeling the breaths which drive me and drive the universe. So it aims to bring out my deep relationship with life.

Thus my painting is a travel-provoking in the way I see the currents running through and structuring the universe like I feel them in the depths of my mind. So the lyrical and colored abstraction, which is the way I express myself, tells the life’s ambivalence, made of joys and sorrows, of meetings and separations, of shades and lights.

The way I look at nature, mysteries and symbols of life, the emotions that appear, what music I listen to makes born in my mind, is the source of my inspiration.

I am, as a professional painter, member of the French National Council of Plastic Arts, CNFAP.

I was born in 1952 in Nevers (58000 France). After scientific studies and career, passionately found of painting, drawing and colors since childhood, I finally allowed me to live my passion in 2007 in Touraine.

Self-taught, I first paint figurative pictures. Paintings of Nicolas de Staël and Kandinsky fascinate me and made me turn to lyrical abstraction and colourist painting in 2007, I then improved me in this way by frequenting internationally recognized artists' studios as those of Jérôme Tisserand, Thibaut de Reimpré ...

My painting, several times described as plentiful and moving, puts moments of light and life on the canvas. I exhibit since July 2008 and I got my first award in October of the same yearI I got several first prizes, and was guest of honor in exhibitions.

A number of my paintings are part of private and public collections in France and abroad.

I have created workshops where I pass on my artistic vision and my techniques that I deepen continuously and in which I constantly innovate.
