Dee Cooper Swift

Born Cape Town 1939. 1968 78. Creative Director of top SA agency. Became a Satsangi in 1978. Spent early 80s painting, meditating and trekking in Himalayas. Today still actively painting and hiking the Cape mountains.

Studied Byzantine iconography in early life and this has influenced works. Also tremendous love of nature and the magic of the spirit. Current work is moving towards the atmospheric and organic.

Studied at The Continental School of Art ( Sgre Podolini) in Cape Town in 1950s. Thereafter numerous speciality courses with various SA artists as well as Ruth Prowse School of Art. All work to date has been commissioned, but never exhibited. ,
