Artist Statement
Nature is beauty and painting is the visual language that best describes it. My passion has been to learn this visual language so that I can best express my impressions and feelings about nature. My attempts to represent nature have led me to appreciate humanity, to discover the meaning in life and to focus on the moment. This journey is endless as it is impossible to achieve a perfect representation of nature. Throughout the journey there are highs and lows, struggles and resolutions, despair and perseverance. When my painting finally reflects my impressions and feelings I know I have created my best representational art. Art to me is a source of endless pleasure.
