Born in North-East England. Have been painting for over 40 years in most mediums. Now paint in acrylics.
My work has always bordered on expressionistic surrealism and is unconsciously and intuitively how i interpret the world around me with its own style and shorthand.
Having left England in 1956 to live in South Africa I finished my education there.
I have spent my time between south africa, the UK and France
I started painting in 1973 and took my own direction from the very start. I am mainly self-taught.
Have had numerous group and solo exhibitions since 1976 in the UK France and South Africa
