Adrian Mellon

Adrian Mellon is an Irish painter, sculptor and object artist. Born in Johannesburg in 1960, he has worked for more than four decades with painting, watercolour, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, objects and spatial structures.

His current work brings together painting collections, sculptural objects, short stories and biographical material in a wider presentation of the practice.

Studied Fine Art at the College of Art, Johannesburg, BA, with work across painting, sculpture and ceramics.

Exhibitions and public contexts since 1984 in Germany, Portugal, Ireland, Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden and South Africa. The current presentation of the work brings together painting, watercolour, sculptural objects and short stories.
