Michael Hough

As a young man, I engaged in oil painting. When I got older, I fell in love with photography. Now, late in my life, I've joined the two loves by creating "paintings" from my photography. Using digital compositing, and "painterly" effects, I am able to create my subjects with a camera, and complete them with digital manipulation.

Self-educated in all artistic endeavors (and much more). I am a college dropout, a Mensan and an autodidact. I abhor formal education, much preferring to learn in my own way, at my own pace.
