Rita Bolla was born in Budapest in 1983. She received her MFA in Visual Arts in 2009, from the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts. By this time, Rita had already won scholarships all around Europe with exhibitions in London, Marseille, Munich, Nuremberg, Helsinki and of course Budapest. In 2010 Rita moved to New York City, where she lived for two years. Her New York paintings appeared in several group shows and one solo exhibition. In 2012, Rita drove cross-country to southern California, where she now resides, with her shelter-rescued dogs. Her artwork can be viewed at .
