Jock Mcdonald

Jock is a portraitist. Whether is the "Big People" --Robin Williams, Dan Rather, Jessie Jackson, David Brower, Rosa Parks, Robert Mondavi, or those in rural Cuba that show the humanity in all of us. Jock has been capturing the Cuban landscape for 25 years. His work includes abstracted photographic weaves, adding an element of depth as he cuts and layers mulitple images to add texture and nuance beyond the original image.

Born in Canada, Jock is a member of the American Photographer's Association and board member of Di Rosa. He is the father of two girls and loves cooking, wine, old trucks, motorcycles, organic food gardening, women, writing, laughing and playing blues harmonica.
