Janet is from Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico artist in several media her best painting is characterized by Expressionism spontaneous and novel, with the strong trait and fast-moving as the character of the painting which shows great personality and healthy decision. It influences it beneficial way the tropicality of the different Greens that adorn our landscape and flora. Easy, refreshing, desire achieves good compositions and congratulations also for some graceful quality prints. I insist to continue with his Expressionism, which will lead to unusual achievements.

Janet Centeno was born on August 16 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Since a young age she showed interest and ability for drawing. At age thirteen she pursued and was recognized for her work with charcoal drawings. She initiated formal studies in University Gardens High School gifted program, specializing in technical drawing and calligraphy. She completed undergraduate studies in Fine Arts and Painting with a minor in Art Education from the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras Campus where she studied under the guidance of Jaime Romano,Susanne Herrera, Luis Hernandez Cruz, Guy Paissy and Javier Millan. Her art has been presented at the Labrador Gallery since 2005 until the present, at Seaferer's House in July 2008,at the San Juan Culinary Fest 2006," San Sebastian Festivities"at Old San Juan from 2004-2012, Banco Popular de PR 1997,Artist fair- Upr 1995-2005, Graphic Arts -Plaza las Americas 2007- 2011, Seafarer's House in July 2008, Galeria del sabor -november 2010 , Vatica, Santurce- December 2010.Blank Space, Downtown Orlando-
