EDUCATION

Susan Aulik's life has always revolved around art – as a practicing artist, collector and supporter of the arts. She has a Master’s degree in Advertising from Northwestern University and a second Master’s degree in Art from California State University, Sacramento.

For decades, she has maintained a consistent studio practice while working to support the arts. After moving to the Bay Area, she became active in the National Museum for Women in the Arts and currently serves on the programming committee. She was president of the board of directors for The Center for Contemporary Art, Sacramento from 2008 - 2009.  She is also the director and curator for the art gallery The Fourth Wall in Oakland. 

Aulik has also promoted the arts as a producer of the short animated film The Star, which premiered at the Rhode Island International Film Festival and produced the feature-length documentary Friends of Mine, which premiered at the Hollywood International Film Festival. 

Aulik's work has been in shows juried by Jeremy Morgan, Donna Seager, Nancy Lim (SFMOMA), Carin Adams (Oakland Art Museum), Yoshio Taylor, and Robert Ray.
