Born 1962 in Basel,Switzerland

Artist's Statement:

After exploring mediums such as textiles,photography and paint,I discovered glass in 1998.I was immediately drawn to it, at first mainly by its brilliant,translucent colors.
Currently,my work is influenced by repetitive pattern and structures found in nature,but also in urban environments.
My work also relates to form and chaos,reality and illusion.
To enhance 3-dimensional and optical effects,I polish my objects.
I use specific colors to create a certain mood.
