My name's Fahd Bouksimi I am a visual artist. I was born in 1988 in the city of Taza in Morocco, I then lived in the city of Fez in Morocco until I moving to San Francisco- California USA.
I've had many valuable experiences in my life. Since my childhood, it was my preference to draw, and I'd love to draw things as they were. I still like the practice of figurative and realistic painting, but I discovered a lot of techniques along the way and used different methods from the places I have lived in, from the time I grew up in a small village near the Taza city Morocco until I moved to the ancient city of Fez, Morocco.
Growing up in the village between 1998 and 2002, I was discovering and testing materials from nature with different techniques. When I moved to the city, I experienced archaeological spaces filled with ancient decorations. Immersing myself in the monuments, I started to get inspired through my artwork, and with a blend of my village experiences, I started trying to create new works.
When I studied at the National Institute of Fine Arts in the Tetouan City Morocco, I began to explore modern art from the discipline of painting, photography, video, and installations.

2013: Participation in the collective exhibition titled "The National Forum of Young Plastic Artists" 4th the session of the hall of Mohamed El Fassi in the ministry in Rabat City, Morocco with a present Minister of Culture “Mohammed Amine Sbihi.”
