Corinne Holloway is a contemporary artist whose aesthetic is drastically shaped by growing up in the Texas panhandle. You can see the influence of the mostly-wild landscape's sharp lines mixed with organic shapes and distinct, yet minimal, color in much of her work.
This Spartan aesthetic is one way Corinne enjoys exploring metaphysical ideas ranging from intrinsic value of the individual to the problem of pain. Often she juxtaposes beauty with pain and joy with sorrow in her pieces in order to show the truth of our world in both its reflective glory and fallen mess.
Corinne received her B.F.A. in Studio Art from West Texas A&M University and currently lives in Philadelphia, PA with her husband where she works as an artist.
